Dear Maam:

Last April 2008, I, Albert Dale Baulita Inocencio, applied for admission in the college of Mass Communication (MassComm) and the National College of Public Administration and Governance (NCPAG). I have successfully accomplished the requirements in order to be accepted under the Batchelor of Arts in Public Administration (BaPA) degree program and the degree program for Film however, I was not admitted due to the results of my interview in film and my inability to reach the quota for BaPA. I have reason to believe that my poor grades in Math 53 affected this result.

During my high school years, I have been chosen to lead impromptu groups and small events despite my unconscious aversion to official class positions. This is evident during my junior year when the president of our student council then asked me to head several committees on several occasions. During that period, I gained a deeper interest in public management after experiencing managing a reasonably large amount of people firsthand. This is why I believe that I am able to enter the NCPAG if allowed to recoup my grades.

I have found that these programs match the possible futures I had in mind, and I am willing to apply again if necessary. I am willing to make more sacrifices in order to turn this vision into a reality. All I need is time to finish what I started.

I request you to consider my appeal.

Thank you.

Sincerely yours,

Albert Dale Baulita Inocencio

Dear Sir:

Last April 2008, I, Albert Dale Baulita Inocencio, applied for admission in your college. I have successfully accomplished one of the requirements in order to be accepted under the Batchelor of Arts in Public Administration degree program by passing the UPCAT and qualifying for a quota course, Batchelor of Science in Computer Engineering (BSCoE). My poor grades in Math 53 led me to see that I was never interested in the BSCoE degree program.

I have found that this program matches the future I had in mind, as one of the leaders of this country that would lead it into a brighter future. I am willing to make sacrifices in order to turn this vision into a reality.

I request you to consider my application and I am willing to prove my worth by undergoing a probationary period until you find me to be unsuited to this course.

Thank you for taking the time to read and consider my appeal.

Sincerely yours,

Albert Dale Baulita Inocencio

Dear Sir:

Last April 2008, I, Albert Dale Baulita Inocencio, applied for admission in your college. Regarding the said application, I have successfully complied with one of the requirements in order to be accepted by your college under the BA Public Administration (BAPA) degree program by passing the UP College Admissions Test (UPCAT). Regarding my grades as of the 2nd semester of my 3rd year, with reference to my True Copy of Grades (TCG), one can see how my General Weighed Average (GWA) sharply decreased by the 2nd semester of my first year. Since my failure at that time, I have, so far, successfully tried my best to recover.

From the time that I was in highschool, I was already interested in the welfare of our country and our countrymen and find it difficult to accept the presence of ineptitude and corruption within our own government, the same government that was tasked to take care of our interests instead of their own. I have conducted my own research and deceloped my own theories regarding this, even comparing the current system to the ideals I have read thus far. Despite this, I was still ignorant of the existence of this institution until my father, Andrew Inocencio, suggested this course in the midst of my previous semester as a good place for me to find my own future. Having applied for many programs in different colleges gave me a better perspective regarding my situation and helped me find my interests which led to my applying in your college.

I have a very wide range of interests which is the main cause of my difficulty in choosing a suitable course until I heard of this degree program from my father. I have found that this program matches with my ideal future, as one of the leaders of this country that would lead it into a brighter future. I am willing to sacrifice in order to achieve this goal because I truly believe that this country is worth it.

If you would take the time to check for yourself the growth of my GWA (enclosed are my own computations) you would see that my grades are slow but are surely recovering given the relatively short amount of time I had to do so. I request you to consider my application and I am willing to prove my worth by undergoing a probationary period until I prove to be unsuited to this course (though I find this to be unlikely).

Thank you for taking this time to read and consider my appeal.

Sincerely yours,

Albert Dale Baulita Inocencio
